Denise Incao
Raised in Georgia, Denise spent her early life roaming forests and playing in grandma’s gardens. In 1995, with a BFA in Sculptural Ceramics from Auburn U., her work was shown in galleries and museums. Teaching adult classes, she also directed ceramics programs for schools and camps in the South. Moving to Arizona in ‘98, Denise taught children and adults to “speak through clay.” Ever a passionate gardener, her MA in Expressive Ecopsychology (Prescott College, 2017) led her to develop a unique program using arts in nature. She lives in northern Arizona with her husband and teenage daughter.
